"We want the ball, and we're going to score."

January 5th, 2004 / #football, #gambling, #sports

Week one of NFL playoff action completed. Let’s go over my picks (WinnerMy pick):

Titans (20) @ Ravens (17)
Cowboys (10) @ Panthers (29)
Seahawks (27) @ Packers (33)
Broncos (10) @ Colts (41)

I totally expected those gosh darn Seahawks to win, I even picked them in my Super Bowl pool. It was going to be beautiful: The most unlikely team would win it all, and I would say, “I told you so!” to all the people I bet against as I took their money. But now I just look stupid.

That’ll teach me to gamble.

With those stupid Seahawks.

There is only one comment. Add to the marketplace of ideas!

…I have devised a plan to go back in time and make sure the Buccaneers make it to the playoffs. Then there would be no need to worry about these pitiful Seahawks losing to the Jamaican zulu warriors of the Green Bay Packers, the Panthers assimilating the throne of the South and killing the defenders of the old west, or the Titans unleashing their bolts of power onto the weak and fragile Ravens… you must know something else Casey, I AM YOUR FATHER… join me and together we shall lead the Bucs to another Super Bowl victory as FATHER AND SON! (well, I actually have no relation to you or any member of your family but the whole father thing adds to the drama of the situation)

Sorry, but comments are closed. Some things are best said in a vacuum.

  • What This Is

This is a not-so-detailed account of my adolescence over the course of almost a decade. Here, I shared my thoughts about things of no real consequence while at the same time being reckless with semicolons and flowery language.

I used this website to connect with folks before Facebook. Today, I sometimes chronicle interesting thoughts and observations I have. I don't update as much as I should.
