Can’t live with ‘em

Because I’m on the yearbook staff at school, I had the pleasure yesterday of observing teenage girls in their natural habitat at a time during which they are particularly vulnerable: school picture distribution day.

It’s funny how every girl responds in exactly the same oh-my-god-my-pictures-are-so-horrible-but-I-think-yours-are-so-pretty-oh-no-mine-suck manner. I’ll be sure to add this one to the list of peculiar girlisms that is already longer than _War and Peace_.

I forgot to mention this, mostly because it’s not that big a deal yet.

But in case you haven’t already heard, the new Co-editors in Chief for the 2005-2006 Aftermath Yearbook Staff at PHUHS are Christina Chan, Egle Vilkelyte, and myself.

You may go back to not caring.

Given:
1 Yearbook is approximately 5 pounds.
1 box of yearbooks contains 8 yearbooks.
There were approximately 1670 yearbooks to be sorted and distributed today.
There were 18.5 boxes of un-named books.

Conclusions:
1 box of yearbooks weighs 40 pounds.
There were 209 forty pound boxes to be carried and sorted.
There were 148 un-named books.

If you find a problem with the yearbook, screw you.
