There Aren’t Enough Hours in a Day

Posted on 06.13.06 4:08PM in random

So, I’ve completely messed up my sleep schedule.

Generally speaking, now that it’s summer, I stay up for 13 hours daily and sleep for the remaining 11. But I have a nasty habit of going to bed later each night than I did before, so my daily routine of going to bed at 4:00 A.M. and waking up at 3:00 is slowly turning into a progressive cycle in which I will soon go to bed at 5:00 and wake up at 4:00. Five o’clock will soon turn into 6:00 A.M., at which time I don’t think I will be able to justify going to sleep at the beginning of a new day.

I wish people had daylight savings time every other day. Then, I wouldn’t have to worry about anything.

Nice Casey. I miss you. And how do you manage to sleep for 11 hours? I’m lucky to get 7.

i have been doing that lately as well! i go to bed later and later every day, normally because i slept in late and hence i am not tired yet. then because i go to bed so late i wake up even later! although i am not in the same range as you, i am normally asleep by midnight/1am and wake up around 10am! but tomorrow i start my summer job, so i have to get up early from now on… bleh! :)

It’s wierd at first, but you’ll get used to it. I’ve trained myself to shift 2-3 hours each day until I get to the point that I’m up to about noon….then it’s easy to stay up until about 9-10ish. It’s the circle of laziness.

Wow. So upon randomly looking through your archives, I think it’s safe to conclude that Angus has left a comment on 83% of your blog entries. Keep up the good work Angus!
