Also, as you finish reading the book, select two significant passages, duplicate, and then color mark. One of the passages should be from the first half of the book and one from the last half. Based on your color marking and assertions, develop an outline for an oral commentary on each passage, dealing with what is most interesting and significant about the passage and how the writer produces that effect. The completed color marking and outlines will be collected or checked during session 2.â€
