Casey I miss you already! Summer is almost up as you must be constantly reminded of. Just got back from the yearbook photo shoot thing. Did you know that teachers don’t know what part of the alphabet their names fall under? Anyways see you Tuesday!

Hiya, Casey!

This comment has nothing to do with golf. I found your site listed in the St. Petersburg Times Online’s newly published list of Bay Area Blogs. http://www.sptimes.com/blogs I must say, I usually avoid teen bloggers. But your blog… well… it does not suck. So I’ll read it. I added you to my RSS list. So many other teen blogs are (as you say in your About page) typical emo, goth, whiny BS. You actually make a few salient points and come across as knowlegable, entertaining, and a pretty cool person to read about.

It’s refreshing. People MY age tend to ramble on about work, relationships, their kids, and all sorts of mundane adultness. It’s nice to read something fresh.

Heh… I am recommending your blog to my 14 year old daughter who blogs, so she can see that teen blogs do not have to be so… TEEN.

Stop by my blog sometime, you may like it. It’s in a bit of flux right now, as I am, after nearly four years of blogging, I am in a sort of identity crisis. So there’s some dust about, but I’ll get it whipped back into shape.

Nice seeing you. Take care, Casey.

In a remarkable attempt to display his ability to perform linguistic gymnastics, my brother has managed to sidestep the real issue: I kicked his sorry butt. This is all.

Here’s another way to rationalize your lack of golf skillz (I assume you’ve already found a few):

Most of the people who read your blog probably either have never golfed or aren’t good at golf. At least statistically, I would suspect only a small percentage of Americans are talented golfers.

So, by this confession of golf ineptitude, you’ve reaffirmed your “one of us”-ness that your readers have come to rely on. That makes for happy readers who love you even more, and isn’t that the self-obsessesed goal of blogging?

Or something.

Anyway, the real question is whether or not you had fun. Golfing is supposed to be fun, right?
