I would like to be the first to say that my brother Casey is a fine human being. Whether it’s helping little kids at Christmastide or devoting entire days to assisting migrant workers in need, my brother always proves helpful and courteous.

As such, I should hope that he will receive the recognition that he deserves this Christmas season. While he is usually selfless and humble, a little encouragement would go a long way.

So when you see him in the halls or on the street, pat him on the back and say, “Good job, little buddy! Way to go!” When that gets boring (or if it just weirds you out) you can substitute a “You da man!” or a “Jolly good show!”

In any case, give credit where credit is due.
